Orange Badge
A friend of mine had to buy a mobility scooter recently and as he is confined to a wheelchair and and it was his first purchase I agreed to help him out. We both knew that we had some legwork to do before we could make the right purchase.
One of my friends carers recommended Orange Badge in East Sussex as they would not only give helpful advice they would also allow you to try the equipment before buying. As we spent around £1250 I am glad we did.
My friends head was swimming with basic questions about what he needed from a scooter, such as
- Can I travel the 1.5 miles from my village to town and back?
- I want to go around a cinder walk nearby home?
- I might be in the scooter for 4 hours a day, will it be comfortable enough?
- There are a couple of really tight spots, I need a good turning circle?
Because they were so helpful I said I would set up a SearchWarp page to help them out - so here you are Orange Badge and thank you.
They have over 4000 square feet of showroom space, over a quarter of this space is given up to stock the most comprehensive range of new and used electric scooters available under one roof in the whole of Sussex. their product range covers all the leading manufacturers' latest ranges from: Shoprider, Pride Mobility, Rascal, Kymco, TGA and Heartway.
